Hello, in this article I’m going to help you understand TikTok Business Account.
When you first start your TikTok account, it’s by default a personal account.
To change it to a Business account, tap on Profile.
Tap on the hamburger icon on the top right hand corner of the screen.
Tap on Settings and Privacy.
Tap on Account.
Tap on Switch to Business Account.
As a Business Account, you will have access to the Business Suite on your TikTok account.
The Analytics show up quite the same as what you see in your personal creator’s account.
You will have access to the Creator Hub where you can get inspirations from other accounts and creations on TikTok.
You will also have a Business Content space to manage your creator collaborations.
You can set up auto messaging for new messages coming in.
You can create a leads form to attach to your short videos for viewers to fill in their details should they be interested to get more info from you.
The Promote function makes it super easy for you to do sponsored ads on TiKTok.
You can register your business to display your business information as well as to enjoy more features in the future.
This is how the business registration looks like – you will need your ACRA number or Sole Proprietorship business number.
You will also be required to upload your business documents, example your ACRA.
After your business registration is successful, you should be allowed to target locations anywhere in the world with your videos.
Do note that the one downside of having a business account is you can’t really hop on music trends with your videos because you can only use commercial sounds.
Also, your TiKTok account will no longer be a Creator’s account. So you won’t be showing up in the Creator’s marketplace.
