I’m going to show you how to set up a TikTok shop selling frozen products with a brand in Singapore – Kow Loon Hong Kong Dim Sum.
Get Whitelisted – How to set up a TikTok shop selling Frozen Products
Unlike many other products on TikTok shop, frozen products are “invite only” products.

Once your products get approved to sell, the category of “frozen food” will be opened for you to start listing your products.
Start TikTok Shop Account – How to set up a TikTok shop selling Frozen Products
You need to first create a TikTok shop account.
Go to seller.tiktok.com to set up your seller account.
This is how your backend looks like once your account is set up.
List Products – How to set up a TikTok shop selling Frozen Products
Click on Products, then “Add New Products” to start listing your products.
The basic information you need to list your products on TikTok Shop are:
- At least 1 product image (at least 1200px X 1200px)
- Product title
- Product price
- Stock quantity
- Weight (g) and dimensions (wxlxh)
The additional information you need to optimize your product listing:
- At least 3 product images
- At least 1 image with a white background
- Brand Name (Preferably with brand authentication)
- More than 1 paragraph of product descriptions
- Product video
- Warranty period and policy if applicable
TikTok Shop listing also allows you to create variations for your products. Example, size number or colours.
For each option per variation, you can insert its own image, price and quantity.
You can see all your products under “Manage Products” in the “Products” category.
Logistics Arrangements – How to set up a TikTok shop selling Frozen Products
For Logistics arrangements, you will need to apply for “Seller Own Fleet” under “Shipping”.
By default all products sold on TikTok shop will be delivered by J&T Express in Singapore.
These are the conditions required to apply for Seller Own Fleet:
- Goods need installation
- Goods that require a certain degree of special handling
- Dangerous goods such as batteries, lighters
- Bulky or heavy goods
To find out more about applying for seller Own Fleet, click on “Academy” at your TikTok shop Seller center and search for “Seller Own Fleet”.
Once you get approved for Seller Own Fleet, you need to set up your own Shipping Template.
Click on “Shipping” then “Shipping Templates” to add new template.
You can create new shipping rules with different weight range.
This is one example.
Once you have submitted your template, the system will charge your customers the shipping fees based on what you have set in here.

Now, you need to link your TikTok shop to your TikTok account so that your Shop can appear at your TikTok account profile page.
Click on “Linked TikTok accounts” under “My Account”. Follow the instructions provided to link your account. Do note that TikTok requires the official TikTok account username to be consistent with the TikTok Shop name.
