Explaining TikTok Shop Affiliate Program for Sellers

The TikTok affiliate program helps brands link up with TikTok creators as affiliates to sell their products on TikTok.

How to Get to the Affiliates Backend

You need to first set up a TikTok Shop account and upload your products at your Seller Center.

Once you’re done, you can click on “Affiliate Marketing” on the top panel. This will bring you to the TikTok Shop Affiliate backend.

Setting Commission Plans

At the left panel, you can see 3 different kinds of commission plans. The shop plan, open plan and targeted plan.

The shop plan is a standard plan that applies to all products and all creators. You can set a commission fee from 1% – 80%.

This is what you will see when you click on Shop Plan.

Simply click on the edit icon under Commission rate to set your standard shop commission fees for all products and all creators.

The open plan is a special plan that only applies to some products and open to all creators. You can set a commission fee from 1% – 80%. You use this plan if some products have different commission plan as your standard shop plan.

This is what you will see when you click on Open Plan.

Simply Add Open Plan to select your products for open plan.

After that, you can manage creators applications too for these plans.

The targeted plan is a customized plan targeted at selected creators only. You can set a commission fee from 1% – 80%, and offer this special commission to your targeted creator for some or all of your products.

This is what you will see when you click on Targeted plan.

You can have creators Whatsapp you or email you.

You can also invite creators to promote your products and offer them a customized commission.

Affiliates Marketplace

Now, if you click on Affiliate Marketplace at the left panel, you will be brought to an entire database of creators that you can work with as affiliates.

You can find creators data by typing their username in the search bar.

You can also filter creators according to product categories, followers profiles and other matrics like Quick to respond, Posts frequently and Reliable with samples.

This is an example data of a very popular creator on TikTok, Runner Kao.

Let’s take a look at his video data. Note that this data is for last 30 days only. Video GPM is the sales volume generated by 1,000 shopping cart exposure in videos. So, if he has 100k views for product videos, he would have brought about $13k in sales.

As for his livestream data. Live GPM is the sales volume generated by 1,000 shopping cart exposures in livestreams. The rest of the data represent his livestream data for past 30 days.

As you scroll down on this same page, you will also be able to view his audience demographics, as well as view some of his top performing videos.
