DIY eCommerce Day 25 Customize YOUR Website Header with Elementor Pro Part 8 Style your Nav Menu

Short 1 min YouTube video tutorial

The Nav Menu shows up as just a grey bar on the editing front. Therefore, you can’t see the effect of your styling real time. You can only update and view at the front end if you really need to check.

CORRECTION: I realised that I’ve forgotten to insert menu items under “Appearance” > “Menu”. This is why it showed up as a grey bar. If you have had menu items, your items will show up at editing page.

Click on the Typography pencil icon to edit the font for your Nav Menu.

Click on the Hover Tab to style your Pointer. You have previously decided on Pointer Type in “Content”. You may style the pointer here. The pointer will show up when your mouse hovers over any menu title.

Then, click on the “Active” Tab and style accordingly too. The “Active” Tab styling will show up when you are at the page of that menu title.

Style your Dropdown if you have sub menu items. If you do not have sub menu items, you may ignore the Dropdown portion.

Style the Toggle Button if you have set for it to appear under “Content”. This is the “Hamburger” icon for mobile devices.
