DIY eCommerce Day 17: Design Website Header with Elementor Pro

Short 1 min YouTube video about designing website header with Elementor Pro

STEP 1

Go to “Appearance” > “Customize” > “Site Identity” to upload your logo and favicon first.

Suggested size for logo: 350px x 100 px

The Site Icon is the favicon, which is the icon next to your Page Title at the URL Tab.

After you’re done with uploading, close the window to get back to WordPress backend.

STEP 2

Go to “Templates” > “Theme Builder”. Click “Add New”. Select “Header” in the dropdown and give it a name. Then, click “Create Template”.

You may select from the pre created templates. However, if you have your own design directions, follow the next video to customize your own header. Simply cross out the window.

To use a pre created template, click on it. Then, click “Insert” to load it in. Customize the information according to your business.

When you click on “Publish”, a “Conditions” page will appear. You will need to set the condition for this header to appear. Usually for header, we select “Entire Site”.

Finally, click on “Save & Close”. Your header is created.
