DIY eCommerce: Secure your website with SSL

YouTube 1 min short video: Secure your WordPress website with SSL Certificate

Most hosting providers offer free SSL certificates now, including Siteground. This video shows you how to set up your SSL certificate for your website, and ensure that it’s secure.

Your URL will change from http to https if your website is secure.

Login to your Siteground dashboard. Click on “Security” > “SSL Manager”.

Select “Let’s Encrypt Wildcard”.

Click “Get”.

Return to your website backend.

Go to “SG Optmizer” > “Environment Optimization” and Enable HTTPS. (SG Optimizer stands for SiteGround Optimizer).

You will be prompted to log in again, and this time all your pages would have turned to https pages.
